Our founder, Reuben Mattus, experimented and tested for decades until he perfected ice cream recipe in 1961. Since then, Häagen-Dazs™ has maintained a timeless tradition of producing only the best quality ice cream and desserts, offering consumers an exceptional eating experience second to none….

Lovingly crafted from only quality ingredients, Häagen-Dazs™ is the ultimate in luxury ice cream. The creaminess of our ice cream is achieved by using only fresh cream. We also whip less air into our ice cream so that you get to enjoy the unique ‘melt in the mouth’ moments for which Häagen-Dazs™ is renowned.

Since its foundation until today, purity, naturality and authenticity are cherished by Häagen-Dazs™: We don’t use any, preservatives, artificial flavourings, or artifcial colorings*. Our ice cream is made from fresh dairy.

We travel the world for quality ingredients: cream, fresh made from the dairy, vanilla from Madagascar, chocolate from Belgium, macadamia nuts from Hawaii and strawberries from Poland. No corner of the world is too remote in our quest for perfection. If it’s the best, we’ll find it!

Then we blend the ingredients gently, with minimal air, so each scoop is dense and creamy for that luxurious lingering taste; and so divine that it takes a longer time to soften into blissful pleasure…making the Häagen-Dazs™ moment truly anticipated like no other…
